Gallup reports 67% of employees aren’t engaged at work. The National Institute of Mental Health stated that 1 in 5 US adults lives with a mental illness. We spend most of our time multitasking, which has increased the diagnosis for “Monkey Brain” syndrome, when we lose control of what is happening due to excessive multitasking and mindless activities. These factors make us much less efficient in our jobs because we no longer have the ability, or desire, to complete simple tasks, thereby decreasing employee productivity.
