Mike's speech inspired me to become a tech addiction evangelist in my own right. Within a year I had read 5 books on the subject, conducted 5 surveys of students and parents, created a series of assignments that required my students to learn about tech addiction, engaged students one-on-one about the issue, educated my administration about it, and delivered my own session about tech addiction at an educational technology conference.
